The Story Begins
You just have to step into your dream
Thanks for being here!
Welcome,
May you find inspiration, encouragement, laughter, joy, and hope while visiting here.

I started my writing journey 13 years ago when my husband and I moved overseas. It was beautiful therapy to write about life in different places to share with family and friends.
In 2017, after we returned home from our travels around the world, I wrote a poem for my dad as a gift for his 80th birthday. A few short months later, that poem birthed The Dream Tree about a little boy, a dog, and the gift of dreaming.

The Dream Tree and other stories to come are playfully inspired by real life experiences using imagination and seeing life through a child's eyes.

You will also discover on this website other creative art projects and thoughtful reflections on the Blog link. Thanks for taking the time to visit and I hope you enjoy this safe space. You're never to old to learn something new. Discover your own creativity, whatever that may be. Art, song, poetry, storytelling, music, crafts, gardening, etc. A small step can make great strides. Progress doesn't mean perfection it means leaning into the experience to positively be the best version of yourself. Take time to explore, smile, and breathe. You got this!

Be well friends - mind, heart and body.
You have a gift. So today, make your dream into reality!

Hugs,
Bridged

Bridged Atkins is extremely grateful and excited to share her latest work, The Dream Tree, a children's storybook with beautiful illustrations by Maria Ballarin and published by Mascot Books. This nostalgic story is inspired by her father's mission to give his children a better childhood than his own by dreaming big and never giving up.
